Integrate Pentaho With LDAP Server.

                        How    to     integrate  pentaho   with  the    LDAP server.

Step 1 -     Run entaho server   log it .   At home menu  click  - >   administration  ->  select      use  LDAP  or Active  Directory.

Step 2 -     Provide  the  server  URL  ,  authorized admin user   and  password.

Step 3-      Provide    a  domian  user    and  role .   A domain user   is user  who  have authority
                  to    all  access  of  LDAP server. So  selecting  the   user  insure  the  all  authority.

Step 4-  Provide  the role of the user  you selected  that means domain admin .  if  you  are using
               active  directory  then  configration  will  be like   this .

Step 5 -    Provide  the  serach base  for the  user .  Which  is  parent  directory of the  selected user.

Step 6-    If  you  are  using   microsoft   active directory .  Then  search will be   like  (sAMAccountName={0}).

Step 7-   Role   attribute    for the global search   can  be  configure like  this.
       Role  search -               (objectCategory=*)
        Role Search base  will be  parent  directory  of  the  role  search .

Step 8-  Role  attribute     will  be
                                  role   attribute - cn
                                group -CN=Users,DC=COELAB,DC=COM
                                filter -  (member={0})
Step 9  -  You   can test you  connection  .

 Step 10 - Test  connection  for  LDAP  configuration .

Step 11 -  Test  connection for  role .
